StreamMix is a powerful plugin that enhances the professionalism and creativity of your live streams. StreamMix recently introduced a new feature for pinning comments on the screen. In this article, we will provide a detailed guide on how to pin comments with StreamMix on your OBS livestream.

Part I: Enabling the Comment Loading Feature on StreamMix

Step 1: Create a New Session

On the StreamMix main screen, click "Live Session" (located in the left-hand toolbar).

On the Live Session page, click the "New Session" button.

Next, enter the name of your livestream session in the "Name" section. The "ID" will automatically copy the content you entered.

Once you've filled in the necessary information, click the "Add" button.

Step 2: Enabling the Comment Loading Feature on StreamMix

In the StreamMix interface, select "New Component."

The "Add a component" window will appear; click "Load comment."

Step 3: Loading Comments from OBS Livestream

In the Load comment frame, click on "+ Source."

StreamMix will prompt you to paste the livestream link into StreamMix.

After pasting the livestream link to StreamMix, click "Add" to complete the setup.

To view the comments from the livestream, click the "Comment Controler" icon. StreamMix will open a new tab displaying the 200 latest comments from your livestream link.

Step 4: Paste the Comment Link into OBS

On the comment page within StreamMix, you can choose from available comment templates. Then, click the copy icon at "Pin Comment Web" to copy the comment link.

In your OBS livestream, click the "+" icon under the "Source" section and then select "Browser."

The "Create/Select Source" window will appear. Change the Browser name to "Pin Comment" (for easy identification) and click "OK."

In the "Properties for Browser" window, paste the link you copied from StreamMix into the URL field and click "OK."

On the comment page that StreamMix previously collected, when you hover over the comment you want to pin, StreamMix will display the "Pin Comment" icon.

Select the comment you wish to pin on the livestream and click "Pin Comment" on StreamMix. The comment will instantly appear in the OBS layer frame.
